Israeli Apartheid Week - Beirut

ABOUT US
The 6th International Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) will take place across the globe in March 2010.
Since it was first launched in 2005, IAW has grown to become one of the most important global events in the Palestine solidarity calendar. Last year, more than 40 cities around the world participated in the week’s activities, which took place in the wake of Israel’s brutal assault against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. IAW continues to grow and new cities join each year as a response to the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).
This year we are bringing IAW to Beirut, featuring: a week of lectures, film screenings, student roundtables, BDS and poster workshops and a concert for Palestine on the last day. We are seeking your support to help us educate, inspire and mobilize the next generation of students in the spirit of resistance to apartheid and injustice.
This will be the first IAW in the Middle East outside of Palestine: support the students of the American University of Beirut in the struggle against apartheid by making a donation now!
